New Hampshire Announces Recall of Pet Chicken Jerky Due to Risk of Salmonella

Bureau of Communicable Disease Control Publish Date: September 10, 2013 Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is announcing a voluntary recall of Joey’s Jerky brand Chicken Jerky due to possible Salmonella risk. A total of 21 people in Merrimack and Hillsborough Counties have been identified with the same strain of the illness, but no deaths have occurred. This is positive in two states so far - Ohio and California but only have seen these two articles out of Ohio. No matter what, be on the lookout for any possible signs of this Canine Circovirus.
