Healthy And Easy Frozen Berry Bites
November 24, 2020
Looking for a healthy, easy-to-make snack? What about ice cream for breakfast? Ok, it's not truly ice cream but your brain certainly will be thinking it!
This delicious no-bake frozen berry bite recipe contains creamy yogurt mixed with nuts, greens and berries. It's the perfect and filling treat for your a.m. meal and best of all it includes the 5-9 servings of veggies and fruits that we all need but rarely get.
I love making food with benefits. In this recipe not only are you getting the antioxidants in the blueberries, calcium in the yogurt and healthy fats, fiber and protein in the nuts but you’re sneaking in your greens by adding Life’s Abundance Greens Blend which is organic and raw. The Life's Abundance Greens Blend is a blend of organic reishi, maitake, and shitake mushrooms to provide B vitamins and the immune supporting benefits of mushrooms.
Not only do I love the Life's Abundance Greens Blend in this recipe, I also love it in my smoothies. I add a scoop of Greens Blend and a Scoop of Life's Abundance Vanilla Plant Protein Powder, some frozen fruits, chia seeds, flax, almond milk and blend.
